Native of Burgundy, Yannick Treffot started customizing trips for a US clientele in 2005. He previously owned and managed a hotel restaurant for ten years before stepping in the adventure travel world leading expeditions in Papua New Guinea and Venezuela. He worked as a tour coordinator for an American luxury biking tour operator in France and also has many years experience of following the Tour de France cycling event with international clients. Yannick lived in several countries and wine regions (Central Otago in New Zealand, Barossa Valley in Australia and Barolo in Piedmont). He recently moved to Vancouver with his family. He travels back to France from April to October every year.
